How to build a Mini ITX Computer?

How to build a Mini- ITX computer?

While manufacturing Mini-ITX the two main things required are motherboard and a case. Both of them are however smaller than the size of usual motherboard and case. Due to smaller size it is equipped with a single expansion card slot and a RAM port. However, the procedure of how to build Mini-ITX computer is same as that of normal systems. The main things required for its construction are screwdriver, case and motherboard for the Mini-ITX computer, RAM, hard drive, operating system and processor. The procedure of how to build Mini-ITX computer is as given below:

Take the case for the Mini-ITX and get the motherboard that will get fitted into the case. Check for the socket of the processor that is being used by the motherboard. The processor should be one that matches with the type of socket and also the module of RAM that one wants to use. Then the next decision is which PCI or PCI expansion slot one would like to go for the sound card or graphics card.
In the next step of how to build Mini-ITX computer take the decision regarding the type of operating system to be used in Mini-ITX computer. Then purchase the slim line disk drive.

Open the screws on the back of case and pull the upper half of the case to make inner chamber visible. Put the motherboard inside the case and fix the screws on the back again so that it would not get open again.

The processor is then placed into the socket which is on the right side of the motherboard. There is lever on the side of the socket which is pulled down. The heart sink of the processor is placed on its top and the plastic clamps are pushed down.

On the left side of the motherboard the hard drive is placed in an open port. The cable of the motherboard is connected to the back part of hard drive. The slim line drive is then placed into the port above the hard disk drive and connected to the cable.

The RAM module is placed into the Ram port which is at the bottom part of the motherboard. Pull the plastic clamps and left ends of the RAM down. The expansion card is placed in the expansion slot which is on the right side. The top panel is pushed back into the case and screws are tightened.

Attach all the cables and components of computer and install the operating system. Thus, the process of how to build Mini-ITX computer is much easy to follow for a technical person.
